The last touchdown from a Brady pass to Wes Welker on Sunday was the first time that a player has scored in the first quarter of a game since the 2007 regular season.
It was also the first of three times in Brady’s career that the Patriots’ quarterback has had multiple touchdown passes from scrimmage, the first since Wes Welkers had five on Jan. 12, 2010.
Brady, who has never had a touchdown pass from scrimmage in a game, has three touchdown passes to go with five interceptions in five games this season.
He is one of four NFL quarterbacks with four or more touchdown passes this season, joining Tom Brady, Matt Ryan and Philip Rivers.
Bracy’s two scores in the second quarter of the Patriots win were the first times that a quarterback scored on the first play of the first half since 2007, when Michael Vick and Drew Brees each had touchdowns on the opening drive.
Bratz had a career-high three catches for 45 yards in that game.
The Patriots finished with a season-low 19 points, which was a season low for the franchise.
